Unknown to them, an identity was hidden deep away;

If only she had known, she would have stay’d away;





The notion that, men objectify women with utter disrespect;

Clinging unto her like as if she was listed on the inventory as an asset;





As (men) We mutilate and put to death our mother and sister;

All of this in the name of Love, your mind must be sinister;





Having grown up in a Fatherless generation, character was not shaped;

As (men) We tend to use our lack of self-identity being enraged;





Abuse to the extreme of breaking down confidence and self-esteem;

All this because you are afraid that she will hurt your ego, why be so mean?;

Cause of this fear, he start’s violating her Constitutional right…….the right to Life;

Lack of self-knowledge then leads to physical and violent and at times fatal strive;





He loses himself in the rage and mentally strikes memory blank;

When he awakes, he is taken by surprise thinking that this is a prank;





Had he dealt with his demons of fear and rejection earlier;

Her demise as well as the fall of his standing couldn’t have been nearer;

Lift not a finger in anger my brother, no more;

The respect and protection of women, we must restore;





As (men) We are birthed from the womb of the woman;

Marra; why would we take their love and abandon;



Such vulnerable and precious beings created in God’s image;

The extinction of our mother and sister will leave no lineage;

As (men) We must stop this ugly violence;

Start to speak out and break the silence;





Introspection and finding self is key to normality;

Let’s lead a lifestyle filled with pure tranquillity;





As (men) We must seek professional help;

And in so doing dealt with this rage yourself;





Safe the children a generation of mother and sister;

In us, instead of fear they must find safety and shelter;
