As the thief comes silently in the deep of the night;

Against this pandemic the world could not put up a fight;

 

Emanating from the global economic powerhouse, China;

Since everything is made there; I saw this coming kinda;

 

We are casualties of a chemical warfare;

That is rooted in the currency nightmare;

 

Economical war is waged upon those vulnerable;

Bodies piled upon bodies, no burial that’s honourable;

Man-made diseases’ are the kryptonite to global progression;

Instead of moving us forward, we get stuck in regression;

 

The World Health Organisation gets put to the test;

Whilst Pres. Donald Trump labels them as the pest;

 

Experts say this disease has become airborne;

Every time we contact, new babies are born;

 

The basic need of touch has been compromised;

All our engagements now have to be condomised;

Death comes when your respiratory system has failed;

Unto a different world your soul and spirit gets lured;

 

Now more than ever, we are afraid to touch;

Moving around with our sanitizer’s in a pouch;

 

In public we are forced to wear our mask;

Global governments surely had a difficult task;

 

International travelling has been banned;

Some economies of scale as a result canned;

We have been fighting man-made diseases’ since we were teens;

Death unto the human race was woven unto our clothes seams;

 

We survived every onslaught with unwavering fortitude;

Against the enemies poison darts, we have reached a different altitude;

 

Unfazed and untouched by their complots of destruction;

Post every knock down; when we arise we become champion;

 

Now much wiser and enlightened we embark upon a new;

Blessed are those that remain not to taken for granted, for we are few;

We were not meant to survive, for this long;

To be crippled were even those that are strong;

 

The entire world came to a standstill;

The sun and time equally became full;

 

All over nothing moved for months on end;

This is really a serious pandemic;

It has the world in a state of panic;
